The "Cross style" refill is probably the second most commonly used ball point refill and is easily identified by its long, thin profile with a distinctive moulded plastic end which incorporates a theread for attaching the refill to a pen. Cross style refills are approximately 11.43 cm or 4.5 inches long and 3 mm or 0.12 inches in diameter
